This is Abby
She is so fun to talk with. She is always very chipper and I am so glad that she was up for a little bit of a change with her hair. She looks beautiful both blonde and brown, but I think she will have a lot of fun with this color and cut.

Thick Hair
Karina came today with grown out blonde highlights and needed a little change. We darkened it up a ton and put some random red in it. Once again the red is hard to see in the picture. She has SO MUCH hair we had to thin it out a ton, so we used a razor to make it lighter while shaping and cutting it.

Ruby Brown for Brittney
This is Brittney's second time coming to me and we wanted to do basically the same thing as last time except we wanted to add a little brown with a tint of red to it, to kinda make it a little different than just the blonde we did last time. It looks so good on her. You can't see the color very well in the pictures but it looked awesome.
Dirty Blonde
Ashley has been a client of mine for a long time now and I LOVE doing her hair. She always has a little idea of what she wants but basically leaves it up to me. We've had her dark for 6 months and she came to me last week and said, "Let's go Blonder, like a dirty blonde." So we did. It's hard to go from Dark straight to Blonde in the same visit... it's possible, but not recommended. So we put quite a bit of blonde in, but not too much. The results are fabulous.

Fixed it UP!!
This is Abby... she had a bit of a crisis last week. She has a friend in Hair School, who convinced her to come and be a "model" for color. Just so you know... you should never ever do that, because being a "model" usually means that you're a guinea pig. So she called me up kinda frantic like and needed her hair fixed before she went out of town. When she came in her roots were very strawberry blonde and then the rest of the hair shaft was bright blonde. It took them 5 hours and 3 color applications to get it that way, and it was the first time she had left her two month old with a babysitter.
I felt super bad for her so we fixed it by weaving a light golden blonde and a light chocolate brown throughout. She looks fabulous. It was fun to see her eyes light up to see that it looked beautiful again.

A Simple Solution to our Hair Coloring Issues
I had a long but good day today. I worked in the morning, came home, put Kevin down for a nap and then had to go to work again at 5 before he even woke up then I got home at 7:30. I sat there with my husband wondering what we were going to eat for dinner. When pizza from Little Cesear's was decided upon I made sure I wasn't the one to go get it because I wanted to spend time with the baby before he went to bed. Anyway... my point with all of that is, that my little boy is growing up and I love watching it. Speaking of little boys and their development, tonight I did my client Shirley Solomens hair. She has been coming to me for about a year or so and she told me today that she too had a long day. Because she lives in New Harmony she has to make her trips to Cedar really count so she had been running errands all day with her daughter and son. Her son is 12 and I believe her daughter is 17. When she told her son that she was coming to get her hair done he asked how long it would take her (obviously wanting to get back home and avoid the whole "boring" part of coming to town) she said it would take about 2 hours. He replied with a big long SIGH.
"Why does it take so long, don't they just use markers"?
From a simple minds perspective it does sound quite logical that one would use COLORS... as in markers to COLOR ones hair. Interesting, I have never even thought of that... I wonder if it would stay better???

My cute Chauntelle
Mary Ellen's change
I work with Mary Ellen. She is so wonderful and it is fun to have her right by me as we work. She just got married in May and had been trying to grow her hair out until she saw my friend Autumns hair. We chopped it off that day and neither one of us have any regrets about doing so. The cut is cute anyway she does it too. I love the versatility.

Simple Chic
Vichelle wanted something more modern and I totally agreed. She had had her long hair for quite a while so when her sister Kyla cut her hair it inspired Vichelle to do the same. We cut the bangs so that she didn't have to do too much to them in the morning except blow them straight down. Every time I have see her since she has looked stylish and chic. This style is easy to maintain because of the simplicity of the cut.

Needed a change
Chopped it off!!!
This was the first time Sara had been to me, her sister referred her and I must say I am so glad I had the oppportunity to give her this hot little due. When she came in her hair was down to the middle of her back and she said she was ready for a change. Oh man what a change! It matches her face perfect. The hair is a perfect frame for that gorgeous smile and it shows off her shiny strands.
